Technology-Windows CleanUp
Another tool that I use is Windows CleanUp by Steven Gould. It is another freeware program that has astounding results. Normally when you run a disk cleanup on your computer it just cleans up your profile, but Windows CleanUp cleans temporary files from all profiles. I have seen this program remove over 3 GB of temp files! Think of this program as a gigantic shredder for your home disintegrating a year's worth of newspapers into dust! Just remember this will remove passwords that have been stored on sites, so if you are one who cannot remember your passwords make sure to write them down before running this program.

Technology Tips-Malware/Spyware Removal
I work for a school district and spend most of my time removing spyware and malware from computers. Malwarebytes is freeware that removes malware from your computer. It is safe and does not download additional spyware on your computer. It is a great tool to use to remove programs not found by other spyware removal software. I use it in conjunction with Spybot which can be scheduled to run regularly to check for spyware on your computer. Most people do not know that they have spyware on their machine and just think the slowdown of their computer is a slow internet connection or not enough memory. With Spybot make sure to check for updates regularly and immunize before scanning!

Fate
It's funny how stray animals seem to find me. I believe that I have "sucker" painted (with invisible ink!) on my house, vehicle, and forehead! Kiyanni found me when I needed a companion. I had just moved over 1600 miles away from home to start a career on the Navajo Reservation as a music teacher. I felt so isolated and this puppy was abandoned. She showed me how a neglected being could see life in a unique way.
I have had a "deja vu" incident. I had to put Kiyanni down 2 years ago at the age of 18. I was driving home and saw a van advertising a pug farm. I thought (out loud) "Maybe I am ready for another dog..." no sooner had I said that and I saw a small fur ball in the median of Interstate 40. I named her Luna after Stellaluna (a children's book about a bat). She continues to open my eyes to life from a stray's point of view.
